Finding out what people originally inhabited any given area can be more difficult than you might imagine. Tribal boundries might overlap or change over time. The best way to learn about your local tribal history is to contact the tribes in your area. Below we have provided a few resources for starting the research on your own.

We have no events coming up but some suggested times of year to pay your tax are:

*"Columbus Day" - October

*Thanksgiving - November

*Duluwat Island / Indian Island Massacre - February 26

These are some suggestions but you can pay your tax any time.
